The
Supernaturals walk among us. They inhabit our world, behind the
curtain, manipulating its delicate balance. Vampires, shapeshifters,
and the Sidhe all vie for power, unseen by mortal eyes. Nemain,
Queen of the Sidhe, keeps a watchful eye on her children…
Lyssa Titus
is content to lead her life, free of the machinations that plague
the existence of a Supernatural, but she is haunted by dreams
of Nemain and the Otherworld. When Alexander Bristol steps into
her life, he brings echoes of her past, and of the power she has
set aside in the name of leading a normal existence.
Centuries
ago, Alex gave up his mortality, and lost his beloved bride Elizabeth
in the process. In Lyssa’s eyes, he sees the love he lost,
and a chance to begin anew. He's determined not to lose her, but
can Lyssa accept her destiny before the trap set for them is sprung
again?
Matthew Hopkins,
Witchfinder General of England, hunts through the country, searching
for women who flaunt their unnatural abilities. But his agenda
is not all it seems, and when he runs afoul of Alex and Elizabeth,
his plan backfires. But could his influence extend beyond the
grave?

A
Note on the Timeline of Immortal Reveries
The historical portion of Immortal Reveries takes place
during the British Civil War, and my research on this time period
would have been incomplete without the aid of Helen Mears, my
eyes and ears in England. Thank you dear, for your invaluable
assistance!
I must add that I have take some liberties with the timeline of
the war, and incorporated Colchester's more sensational events
to coincide with Matthew Hopkins' rise to prominence. Of course,
I have also taken the liberty of making Mr. Hopkins a vampire,
so one should not read this novel looking for a history lesson,
but if you would like to learn more about Colchester or Stuart
England, I have added some links for anyone who would like to
learn more about the real history of this fascinating place:

4 Stars from JERR
Immortal
Reveries begins the first story in a new series by HS Kinn...I
was thrilled when I finished this story. This was more than an
erotic tale, it was a love story that spanned centuries. The writing
had a very nice flow, taking us from past to present with ease.
The secondary characters were as fascinating as Alex and Lyssa,
and the camaraderie amongst them was exciting to read. Theirs
was a love that started in youth and transcended through time,
and though it took time for Lyssa’s mind to catch up, her
heart knew her fate. Immortal Reveries is an absolutely wonderful
story, I eagerly anticipate the next installment.

"This
was an interesting story. The concept of a relationship between
a vampire and a sidhe was unique. It became a little hard to follow
the plot because it jumps so much between the past, the present,
and the otherworld, but I managed it. Once you get farther into
the story, it finally starts to make more sense. The chemistry
between the two main characters was wonderful. I especially liked
the slow seduction of Lyssa's previous incarnation by Alexander.
The thing that surprised me was that I actually found the bad
guy both repelling and interesting at times while reading. I can’t
condone his actions, but the reasons behind them added an interesting
twist to the story. H.S. Kinn has created a fascinating view on
mixed paranormal relationships."

"Immortal
Reveries is a wonderful erotic and romantic ebook...Ms. Kinn
has spun her tale with such detail, emotion and creativity that
I was spellbound to the end. She coalesced her characters stories
from time period to time period in such a way that the switch
was smooth but could have stood alone. I have read few authors
that can basically put two stories into one. For those romantic
vampire lovers, here is a great story that meshes supernatural
and humankind together."
